Yoichi, the original user of One For All, has seen that the strength of Deku’s strike is hindering the fusion of All For One and Shigaraki. In spite of the AFO perception of Shigaraki that Deku’s assaults are weakening, Deku still manages to gain the upper hand by connecting with a powerful blow. The struggle rages on as Deku combines the might of the second user with the other Quirks in One For All. From what we can gather, Deku gives AFO-Shigaraki a Detroit Smash consisting of five separate blows. But as we’ve seen in earlier chapters, the Quirks within One For All have become considerably stronger, allowing Deku to deal damage to the All For One-controlled Shigaraki. Currently, the second user’s skill is somewhat feeble, thus All For One has no trouble taking him on. To kick off this new chapter, we are taken back in time to when All For One was engaging the services of the second user of One For All.
There may be spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 369 in this post At the chapter’s close, Yoichi enters and declares that today is the day All For One and AFO Shigaraki would settle their long-running war, all as Deku prepares to attack AFO Shigaraki with a larger and more powerful Detroit Smash. Instead of 100% becoming 120%, his new quirk is described as “Gear Shift Overdrive” by him, and “100% becoming 120%” by Deku. And then he went on to explain how Deku’s special ability works-namely, that it allows the user to alter the speed of whatever object he touches. A second user of One For All stood forward, promising AFO Shigaraki that this time would be different. Unlike Mirio, AFO Shigaraki is stunned by Deku’s strikes, which leads him to discover that the energy Deku is utilising now is very different from what he was using before. Deku then stands with his right hand raised and shouts, “Second transmission!”ĭeku’s top gear, second gear, and third gear all launched simultaneous strikes towards AFO Shigaraki, seemingly out of nowhere. The second user calculates that in only five minutes, the world will end if nothing is done about AFO Shigaraki. Deku was told to hold off using his quirk until the very end by the second user of the One For All system. Shigaraki frees himself from Deku’s Black Chain and tells him that no matter how many times Deku switches up his assaults, he would not be fooled again. Black Chain is a counterattack in which Deku uses his Fa Jin-infused Black Whip to tie AFO Shigaraki’s arm and then throws him away. However, Deku is unharmed, and he firmly assures AFO Shigaraki that he will not have a happy ending. When AFO Shigaraki attacks Deku, he uses a devastating smash that wipes out everything in their immediate vicinity. It’s time, he says, for him to reclaim his brother’s eccentricity. Shortly later, the flying UA is jolted by the angry leap of AFO Shigaraki. She did this after meeting Kotaro Shimura, AFO Shigaraki’s one and only son. Deku turns around and sees Nana Shimura behind him she informs him that Shigaraki is still there. When he was tough with AFO Shigaraki, he remembers, AFO Shigaraki went wild and threw a tantrum like a kid, meaning that the more they push him, the more unstable he gets. Mirio added his two cents at this point, wondering aloud if All For One and Shigaraki had truly fused. Additionally, AFO Shigaraki is certain in his assertion that Deku would not achieve his happy ending even if he did not know what was going through Deku’s head. After Shigaraki Tomura’s death, AFO Shigaraki continued informing Deku that All For One was in command.
At the beginning of the chapter, a livid Deku demands to know if Shigaraki is still alive, to which AFO Shigaraki replies that he is no longer alive and that they have become one person.
